Summer House with Swimming Pool by Herman Koch
What’s it about?
This is a psychological thriller that centers on a doctor and his family.
What did it make me think about?
That I would never want the main character as my doctor!
Should I read it?
I did not enjoy this book. It had truly unlikable male characters and the whole thing just made you feel slimy…. It is a psychological thriller and I have to admit that the writing is good. Lots of twists and turns so it is easy to read. It was not for me but other people might enjoy it.
I could not find anything to quote that did not bother me…
